A life spent in creativity, first as a copywriter, then as creative director and finally as founder of the communications agency Mission To Heart. We interviewed Arnaldo Funaro about his latest book “All U love Is Need”. Author of several books and above all books different from each other: " Differently Occupati ", a collection published by Resistenza Umana (Guerini&Associati) born from his activity as a cartoonist for l'Unità, Il Fatto Quotidiano and Il Sole 24 ORE; “ A child is waiting for me ”, published by LOG (Guerini&Associati), the story of an international adoption and born from the Facebook page of the same name, currently the largest community dedicated to the topic; “ #EscapeWithMeaRomaNord ” (Albatros), teen novel written under the pseudonym of Giulio Agricola.
Many things are said about him.” – states the author – “The bad ones are Germany Phone Number all true”. Serena M. Calabrò , Project + Operation manager consultant + ABM specialist, interviewed him for us . AULIN, an interesting play on words to name the agency your book is about. A story that starts from the working context of an agency and which addresses, at times stereotyping them (but not too much), episodes and events typical of the context. Added to this is a dystopian vision of a future in which technology has become uncontrollable in its evolution, but controlled in its application. A future that seems distant, but which, thanks to ongoing technological and scientific development, could be almost close. All U Love Is Need is full of reflections on the world of work as a whole, on the value of time and on people. Dreamjob is an experiment.
A way to use your sleeping time productively, dedicating your waking time to personal freedom. Where does the main idea of the novel come from? Believe it or not, the idea comes from my insomnia. I don't sleep much and my day usually starts at three in the morning. It depends on many factors, not least the fact that for a rather long period of my life in the agency, it was always very late and the so-called late night had become almost standard. If you think about it, we often tell ourselves that we need twenty-five, twenty-six or thirty hour days to do everything. But I realized that the time we can dedicate to ourselves, therefore regardless of work, is really the stuff of hours and minutes. So I asked myself: what if we could work at night , while we sleep, and have the day free to live our lives? Thirty years ago it would have been a science fiction novel set in the distant future.
